England will resume their first innings with the score on 294/7, perhaps a lot less then what they would’ve been hoping for on a perfect batting pitch. At the crease for them will be Prior on 6 and Stuart Broad on 9. Australia will be well aware of what both are capable of with the bat, and the form they’ve shown thus far in the series. They are still easily capable of reaching the 400 mark, which will most likely make the test in a draw. For Australia to have any chance, they have to pick up early wickets, both Prior and Broad like to score fast, and will attack the right deliveries, which will make them vulnerable as well. Clarke will have to set attacking fields, even if the runs flow, with the way Broad and Prior bat, they will always give you chances.

Mitchell Starc looked the most dangerous with the ball in hand on day three, and will almost certainly open the bowling for them on day four. Nathan Lyon has been the disappointment thus far, after seeing what Swann got form the pitch, Australian fans would have expected a lot more for Lyon, who is still wicketless, after bowling 26 overs.

Day four will give us a good indication of where the test match will end, if Australia strike early, they will have an outside chance, if Broad and Prior get any kind of partnership going, mark this one down as a draw.
