India vs Australia 3rd Test Full Highlights

We move to Mohali for the third test match between India and Australia. The Ausies have gone from world beaters to pretty much the laughing stock of world cricket. With players sent home for not finishing written assignments given to them. The third test should really be a mismatch, with four key players sent packing. With so much in fighting, I can’t really see any other result in this test, India should come out and play ruthless cricket, lead by captain Dhoni, and look for the 3-0 lead in the series.

Adding to the Australian woes, is the injury to Matthew Wade, Brad Haddin has been flown in as cover. Many believe he should be in the team in the first place, adding some much needed experience, anda wise head to the line-up. With Mitchell Johnson and James Pattinson both on their way home, it would have to mean a return for Mitchell Starc to the staring line-up. Steven Smith is also likely to get a run, adding some young exuberance to the team.

India are well settled at the moment, something that Duncan Fletcher will be well pleased about. Media reports suggest Cheteshwar Pujara, might not make the starting line-up due to a knee injury. This might pave the way for Ajinka Rahana to make his debut. Calls have also been made for Sehwag to move down the order, or will there be a straight swop for him, with Dhawan coming into the team?

Out of the ten test matches India have played at the venue, they’ve lost only one, winning four and drawing the remaining 5. India won their last match played in Mohali against Australia by one wicket in 2010, Shane Watson scoring a brilliant 126 in the match.
