Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils T20 - Full Highlights

Mumbai might see a few team changes, in particular at the top of the order, where they have struggled for good starts this season. The combination of Tendulkar and Ponting, as good as it looks on paper, has just not been able to click. The top order for the Indians was demolished last time out by the Rajasthan attack, with the two stars for them this season, Sharma and Karthik also failing. Pollard has of yet not had an opportunity to play a long innings, this will be a worry for the Daredevils, as he will be itching for some runs. Malinga will be the key for Mumbai, he’s battle with Sehwag will be the key.

What can one say about the Daredevils? Is it that the team hasn’t gelled? Captaincy a problem? Injuries to key players? No one seems to be able to lay a finger on what the cause of six defeats in a row is. I think we might see some wholesale changes, with the likes of Warner perhaps moved to the bench, after failing in his last two innings’. Someone like Ben Rohrer should be given an extended run. They also have Roelof van der Merwe on the sideline, a hugely competitive player from South Africa, who can add value with both bat and ball. Perhaps he should be given a go, at the expense of fellow South African Morne Morkel, who hasn’t been at his best thus far.

Delhi should put up a good fight again, but I think the class of the Mumbai Indian team will be enough for them to pull this on through.
