Pakistan, known as competitive T20I side, will be under huge pressure to perform, and the most will be on the captain Mohammad Hafeez, who has been out of sorts of late. He has become a bunny for Dale Steyn, and was held back last time out to try and avoid the world number 1 bowler. On paper when half the team clicks, they are world beaters, but something is missing from the side. The talented Nasir Jamshed might get another chance, perhaps at the cost of a bowler, as Pakistan will need to bolster their batting. Sohail Tanvir looked to be struggling in the opening T20I, and might be the player replaced. Abdur Rehman will be hoping for a second chance, after being taken apart during his first game of the tour.

South Africa have decided to send JP Duminy and Morne Morkel back home to get some much earned rest, as they were involved in all three forms of the game on tour. This will leave the door open for Henry Davids in the batting order, he has been in terrific form in domestic cricket, and will be desperate to prove his talent and ability. Quinton de Kock seems to have found his feet on the international level, and with his level of confidence, his wicket will be extremely important at the top of the order. Amla will look to overcome his vulnerability to left arm quick’s, and look to get South Africa off to a quick start, as only he can.
