Pakistan vs South Africa 4th ODI- Full Highlights

Kingsmead in Durban will play host to the fourth ODI between South Africa and Pakistan, South Africa currently lead the five match series 2-1. Expect a jam packed Kingsmead, as the match is being played on a public holiday in South Africa, and no rain is forecast for the normally wet Kingsmead.

South Africa will be without the services of Faf du Plessis, who was ruled out due to injury. He’s place in the squad will be taken by exiting young talent, Quinton de Kock. The youngster has showed good form, scoring a fifty in a domestic T20 fixture this week. South Africa will be looking for a much improved performance from their bowlers, in particular Lonwabo Tsotsobe, who took a lot of tap in the third ODI.

Pakistan have recalled Sohail Tanvir to the squad, as cover for a few bowlers, all with slight niggles. He is well adapted to local condition, after playing for the Lions in the domestic T20 competition the last two seasons. Pakistan will be hoping that Shaid Afridi keeps his form with the bat, this will make them a very dangerous side, with an in-form Afridi batting at number eight!

Pakistan hold the upper hand in fixtures between these two sides at Kinsmead, in the previous five ODI’s between  these teams, Pakistan have won three. Overall South Africa have played 29 ODI’s at the venue, winning fifteen. Looking at past scored, not many teams have surpassed the 250 total, which certainly makes it a bowler friendly track. Pakistan, on current form I feel hold the edge in that department. Look out for a good contest between ball and bat, with no high scoring predicted.
